Registration

As every year, we kindly invite you to participate in the Symposium and present your research. In particular, we welcome undergraduate and graduate students as well as young researchers interested in the fields of biotechnology, biology, bioengineering, bioinformatics, chemistry, chemical technology, chemical engineering, medicine, pharmacy, environmental studies, as well as other related fields.

Participation forms at the 11th IBS “Symbioza” are:

  • – Oral presentation (registration ended 24 March)
  • – Research poster (registration ended 24 March)
  • – Passive (no presentation) in-person participation (registration ended 14 April)
  • – Passive (no presentation) online participation (registration ended 3 May)

On-site active participation

Registration for on-site active participation for the 11th IBS Symbioza is already closed! Thank You for choosing our conference!

Active participants take part in IBS Symbioza with an oral presentation (max. 10 min + 5 min discussion) or a poster concerning their research. Undergraduate, Master’s, and Ph.D. students will compete for the best poster and best oral presentation prizes! Requirements for the preparation of abstracts and posters will be described in the FAQ section.

Please note that: (1) we only accept original research work; (2) all the communications should be prepared in English; (3) only one person is allowed to present a particular work

In 24 hours after filling in the registration form, you shall have received an email confirming your registration. You were provided detailed information on how to submit your abstract by e-mail. The final decision on your participation will be made by the Scientific Committee based on the abstract provided.

If you do not wish to present your research, you can register as a passive participant. This will allow you to attend all the lectures, presentations, poster sessions, workshops, informal events, and meals on-site.

On-site passive participation

If you do not wish to present your research, you can register as a passive participant. This will allow you to attend all the lectures, presentations, poster sessions, workshops, informal events, and meals on-site.

Registration for on-site passive participation in the 11th IBS “Symbioza” was open until 14 April 2024.

Online passive participation

This year, we offer the possibility of online participation in “Symbioza” via YouTube. As an online participant, you will have live access to all scientific events, but you will not be offered to present your own research.

Registration for online participation in the 10th IBS “Symbioza” was open until 3 May 2024.

Online Conference Fee

The conference fee for online participation is PLN 50 (ca. EUR 12) and includes access to live transmission from all the scientific events of the Symposium including plenary lectures and student talks, an electronic version of the book of abstracts, and a certificate of online participation. Payment details will be passed to registered participants by email.
