What is the RKN? 

Student Research Group Council was established in 2005 as a body of Research Groups at the Warsaw University of Technology. The main tasks of the Council are to represent the Student Research Groups before the Authorities of the Warsaw University of Technology, the bodies of the Students’ Union of the Warsaw University of Technology, and on the national and international forums towards institutions that are interested in cooperation with RKN and the Student Research Groups. We co-create platforms for collaboration and exchange of experience between Student Research Groups in the Warsaw University of Technology, Polish and foreign universities, and organizations of a similar nature to the RKN, support the development of Student Research Groups and raising funds for the activities of Groups, as well as bring together and integrate their members. The most important decisions concerning the functioning of the Council are made during meetings, usually convened once a month. All members of the Student Research Groups can attend and speak at them. In addition, each Group has the right to appoint a delegate from among its members to vote on behalf of its unit.
